This week, the students completed their beautiful portraits inspired by the artist Amedeo Modigliani. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They learned about his unique style\u2014especially how he painted elongated faces and necks, soft expressions, and often left the eyes empty or simplified to show mystery or emotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We explored Modigliani\u2019s life, his love for portraiture, and how he expressed deep feeling through simple forms and soft colours. Using pastel techniques on black paper, the students created their own portraits in Modigliani\u2019s style, blending colours with their fingers and paying close attention to shape and mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final artworks are expressive, bold, and truly personal\u2014just like Modigliani did.

We are delighted to invite you to a special Art Exhibition<\/strong> on Friday, June 13th<\/strong> in the school auditorium<\/strong>, featuring selected artworks from Term 2 and Term 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This exhibition will showcase the creative and meaningful works of our students, who have shown wonderful enthusiasm and dedication throughout their art classes. We warmly welcome all parents to attend and celebrate the children\u2019s efforts, imagination, and artistic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Korea is our host country, many of the featured pieces reflect Korean culture and identity<\/strong>, created using traditional Korean materials<\/strong>. The students have also studied the lives and works of prominent Korean artists<\/strong>, which are beautifully represented in their projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the exhibition includes student artworks inspired by world-renowned artists<\/strong> such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Pablo Picasso, Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Henri Matisse, Joan Mir\u00f3,<\/strong> and Amedeo Modigliani<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
