I hope you enjoyed watching your child have fun! We were all very tired on Thursday, and I think we are in need of a relaxing weekend.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have a lot of photos and some videos from the Global Day, so I have put them in a folder here for you all to see. Mr Green will share the whole-school photos with you in the newsletter, too. Thanks again for all the effort you all made for Global day. We had lots of fun. You can see some videos in the folder of the children introducing their snacks. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1ZZi9Mvzrm-LCnwAgdI-QjHn9o7iyoHkF?usp=drive_link\">Photos and videos from this week<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Absent from School<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next week, I will be absent from school from Wednesday to Friday as I am flying to London for a conference. The class will be covered by both Ms Tanisha and Mr Green. Please email Mr Green if you need to get in touch during my absence. Thank you for your understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are trying to stay busy learning amongst all the fun we are having doing the ABC Countdown. Only 3 weeks left now until summer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Literacy, we researched what it would be like to be stuck on a boat during a storm. We used our sense charts and wrote about what we might see, feel, hear or smell. This was to prepare us for writing a diary entry. I am really trying to encourage the children to write more independently as they prepare to go up into Year 3 next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In IPC, we became scientists and worked outside, measuring trees, comparing trunk sizes, estimating circumferences and labeling tree parts.
