Dear Parents,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is Friday and we have a lovely long break ahead of us! I hope you all have a wonderful time with your family this Seollnal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s take a look at what we have been up to this week!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Maths, we have been working on doubling and halving, odd and even numbers, the 10 times-table, and dividing by 10. The children have been using manipulatives and tuff trays to support active, hands-on learning, which has helped build their confidence and understanding of these concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In IPC, we explored different types of sounds. We visited the music room, looked at a sound scale, and investigated how noisy different objects and instruments can be. It was certainly a very noisy week -but lots of fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Literacy, we have come to the end of our unit and the children completed their writing assessment yesterday. I will mark these over the holiday and return them to students next week. After the Lunar New Year break, we will begin an exciting new book, Major Glad, Major Dizzy<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Field Trip Update:<\/strong> The field trip has been rescheduled to Thursday 26th February <\/strong>due to the school\u2019s Open Day on the 24th. Thank you all for completing the form so promptly, and I hope this change does not cause any inconvenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you all have a wonderful, restful break, and I look forward to seeing everyone next Thursday!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
