Welcome to Ulsan Hyundai International School!

To better reflect our role as the only licensed institution of international education in Ulsan and our close ties to HD Hyundai, our founder, we are proud to announce our new name: Ulsan Hyundai International School.

Formerly known as “Hyundai Foreign School”, this rebranding marks an exciting new chapter in our journey that first started in Ulsan in 1982. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our current school community, alumni, and former parents for their kind support and encouragement. Please rest assured that we will continue to carry forward our vision of nurturing global citizens with a love of knowledge, tolerance, and compassion.

Our world today faces rapid technological change, global climate challenges, and unprecedented geopolitical and economic shifts. These realities call for new ways of thinking and preparing our students to thrive.

In response, we are committed to boosting creativity and resilience while promoting critical thinking through our educational programmes. Our goal is to equip students with the skills and a flexible, international mindset needed to navigate the complexities of the 21st century with confidence.

울산 유일의 공인된 국제 교육 기관으로서의 역할과 설립자인 HD현대와의 긴밀한 협력을 더욱 잘 반영하기 위해, 저희 학교가 새로운 교칭 울산현대국제외국인학교(Ulsan Hyundai International School)로 태어나게 된 것을 자랑스럽게 생각합니다. 기존의 “Hyundai Foreign School”에서 새롭게 출발하는 이번 리브랜딩은 1982년 울산에서 시작한 저희 학교의 여정에 새로운 장을 열게 되었습니다.

현재 재학 중인 학생과 학부모님, 졸업생, 그리고 이전 학부모님들께서 보내주신 따뜻한 성원과 격려에 깊이 감사드리며, 저희는 앞으로도 지식에 대한 사랑, 관용, 그리고 타인에 대한 연민을 지닌 세계 시민을 양성한다는 비전을 계속 이어갈 것입니다.

오늘날 우리의 세계는 급격한 기술 발전, 글로벌 기후 변화, 전례 없는 지정학적·경제적 변화에 직면해 있습니다. 이러한 현실은 새로운 사고와 재편되는 질서 속에서 잘 해낼 수 있는 능력을 배양하는 교육을 요구합니다. 이에 저희는 창의력과 회복탄력성을 높이고 비판적 사고를 촉진하는 교육 과정을 통해 학생들을 지원하고자 합니다. 학생들이 21세기 복잡다단한 세상을 자신 있게 헤쳐 나갈 수 있도록 필요한 역량과 유연한 국제적 사고방식을 갖추게 하는 것이 저희의 목표입니다.
