Hello everyone! We have had a very creative week in class!
In Maths, Y4s have started their second unit of decimals. We have been partitioning, adding and subtracting. Y3s have started looking at capacity and volume, using measuring jugs to measure millilitres.
In Literacy, we learnt about how stalagmites and stalactites form and read some more of our story, Blue John. We debated whether Blue John should leave the cave or stay inside with his mother.
In IPC, we discovered what cams are and how they can make some fun toys! It was challenging to make them, but we were resilient and tried our best! We also made some cute peg toys! Soon, we will be trying to invent our own toys and make them independently.
I can’t believe only two more weeks until the holiday! The year is going so fast! Have a great weekend.
