Happy Friday everyone!
We are all definitely feeling the excitement of the holidays this week! In Maths, we have been reviewing multiplication and division, adding 1s across 10s and improper fractions. We have also been completing some Taskmaster activities, trying to make the tallest tower, precise weights and collecting data.
In Literacy, we completed some fantastic non-chronological reports about the rainforest and are excited to show you our learning! We are rewriting in our neatest handwriting to display in school.
We are also finishing our IPC unit of Vanishing Rainforests! We discovered all about seed dispersal, food chains and producers and consumers and created our own Top Trumps card game all about the animals in the rainforest. In Digital Literacy, we produced branching databases all about animals and their characteristics, using our IPC vocabulary.
Also, we welcomed Rihyun into our class this week! We hope he has enjoyed his first week at UHIS.
Our final week is arriving! We are very excited for Gyeongju World and water fights.
