Welcome Back!

Welcome back to a new term at Ulsan Hyundai International School! We hope all our students and families enjoyed a restful winter break and are feeling refreshed and ready for the months ahead. This term promises to be a busy and exciting one, filled with learning, community events, and opportunities for our students to continue growing as confident, curious, and internationally minded learners.

During the winter holiday, we completed the final steps in the process of officially becoming Ulsan Hyundai International School. While our name has changed, our identity, values, and commitment to providing a high-quality international education remain firmly the same. This milestone reflects our school’s proud history, strong connection to the Hyundai community, and our continued focus on serving students and families in Ulsan with an internationally minded outlook.

After-School Activities

After-School Activities will run from Week 3 to Week 10 (inclusive)
Please sign up using the form below by Wednesday of Week 2.
Due to the limited seating on the school bus, the maximum number of participants for activities is limited to 20 students per day.

School Fee Receipts

If any families require confirmation of school fee receipts for the 2025 tax settlement (연말정산), please contact the Admin Office for assistance.

Mid-Year Reports

Mid-year reports will be published on Friday 30th January.
Parent-teacher conferences will be held in weeks 5 and 6.

Termly Curriculum Plans

Termly curriculum plans are now available on each class webpage, providing families with an overview of learning priorities and upcoming units for the term.

Ulsan Children’s Home Gifts

During the winter holiday, Santa delivered the gifts generously donated by the UHIS community to the children at the Ulsan Children’s Home. Bringing Christmas cheer to the Children’s Home has become a well-established UHIS tradition, and we are delighted to have continued this meaningful act of kindness once again this year. Thank you to everyone who purchased a gift; your generosity brought smiles and happiness to many children, and we look forward to sharing even more festive cheer next year.

Library Volunteer

We are looking for a parent volunteer to support our small but much-loved UHIS library. The role involves helping with book organisation, simple cataloguing and keeping the space welcoming for our students.

A regular weekly slot would be ideal, but we are happy to work around your availability. No prior experience is required, just a love of books and a willingness to help our young readers.

New IPC/IMYC Units

Here is a sneak peek at the exciting IPC and IMYC units beginning this term. Students across the school will be exploring a range of engaging topics, with a strong focus on hands-on investigation and inquiry-based learning. There is plenty of interesting science to discover as students ask questions, test ideas, and make meaningful connections to the world around them.
