Our Year 7–9 students have completed their Chuseok Art project, exploring Korean culture through traditional symbols, patterns, and design.
This week, students also continued sharing their learning about celebrations around the world. Students who previously created a Celebration PowerPoint presentation were randomly selected to present their work to the class. This week, Sutheep presented his Celebration PowerPoint, sharing interesting information about a celebration and explaining its cultural traditions and meaning. The presentations gave students an opportunity to practise speaking, listening, and learning about different cultures from their classmates.
Next week, we will begin a new topic and explore Carnival celebrations from around the world, looking at colourful costumes, masks, music, traditions, and the different ways people celebrate.
