Welcome back everyone! It has been so lovely to see all the students again and hear about their amazing holiday time.
This week in Maths, Y4 have been learning all about money and different currencies. Y3 have been continuing their fractions journey, looking at adding and subtracting fractions and working out fractions of amounts.
In Literacy, we have started to look at a story all about refugees. We thought about what makes a house a home and how we feel in our own homes. We wrote some incredible poems all about what home means to us. We are excited to read the book next week!
In IPC, we have begun our Time and Place, Earth and Space journey! We have learned about how the Earth and moon orbits in space and why this makes night and day and different phases of the moon. From next week, we will look at the moon in the sky every night to check what phase it is.
We have also started PE outside from this week! So children can bring hats and sun cream if they would like.
