Miss Staines - 2025/26

Miss Staines’s Weekly Update- T3 W10

Hello everyone! We have had a fun week continuing our ABC Countdown, filled with outdoor learning, a nature lunch and writing letters to our new teachers for next year.

In Literacy, we are coming to the end of our final unit of the year, preparing and planning our non-chronological report about the rainforest! We have learnt so much and are so excited to write all about our new knowledge. They can’t wait to show their amazing work to you!

In Maths, both Y3 and Y4 have finished all their learning! Whilst Year 3 have been finishing statistics and completing their tests, Y4 have been reviewing topics they have found tricky during the year such as dividing and multiplying. For the final two weeks, we will continue to review and enjoy our maths lessons with games and activities.

In IPC, we have been learning all about how plants survive and adapt, focusing on the nutrient cycle and photosynthesis. We have learnt some songs and drawn and labeled our own plants that have adapted to survive harsh environments.

Next week, I will hopefully see all parents in the PTCs! We can have a look through your child’s progress and talk about areas they can focus on next year. We can also discuss reports then too! Also, Gyeongju World and Year Book money should be handed into the office.

Have a lovely weekend!
