CIS Preliminary Engagement Feedback
We are very proud to share some of the feedback we received from our recent CIS Preliminary Evaluation. The report highlights many strengths across our school and reflects the dedication, hard work, and commitment of our students, staff, parents, and wider community. There is much to celebrate, and everyone who has contributed to the development of UHIS should feel proud of what we have achieved together.

The CIS accreditation process now moves into its next phase, with the school identifying and working on a number of development initiatives. These areas for growth are designed to build on our existing strengths and support our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.
Upper School Residential Trip
Last week, our Upper School students enjoyed a fantastic residential trip filled with challenge, adventure, and memorable experiences. Throughout the trip, students demonstrated resilience, teamwork, independence, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones as they took part in a wide range of activities.
Residential trips provide valuable opportunities for students to develop confidence, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories beyond the classroom. It was wonderful to see students supporting one another, embracing new experiences, and representing UHIS so positively throughout the week.
A huge thank you goes to the staff who accompanied the trip and ensured that it was both a safe and rewarding experience for everyone involved. We are delighted to share some photographs from the week and celebrate the many highlights of what was a very successful trip.
Sports Day – Wednesday 3rd June
We are looking forward to Sports Day on Wednesday 3rd June. Following the postponement due to the weather, we are pleased that students will now have the opportunity to take part in one of the highlights of the school year.
Students should come to school wearing their house colours and suitable sports clothing. Please ensure that your child brings a water bottle, hat, and applies sunscreen before coming to school. Parents are warmly invited to attend and support the event.
We are hoping for favourable weather and an enjoyable day of participation, teamwork, and healthy competition for all students.
Yearbook Cover Competition
The Yearbook Cover Competition is now open.
Students who would like to enter can collect an entry sheet from the Admin Office. Each student should submit one original design before Friday of Week 9.
Designs should include either “UHIS” or “Ulsan Hyundai International School” as well as “2025/26”.
We encourage all students to take part and showcase their creativity.
Introduction of Paid Bus Service
UHIS will introduce a paid bus service starting in academic year 2026/27.
