This week, Year 1–2 students continued their exploration of nature by creating colourful insect artworks. Students carefully drew and coloured a variety of insects, paying close attention to their shapes, patterns, and features.
They then combined their insect drawings with their previously created flower artworks, arranging them into vibrant garden scenes. Through this activity, students explored composition, colour, and creativity while developing their drawing and fine motor skills.
It was wonderful to see students using their imagination to bring their insects and flowers together, creating unique artworks inspired by the natural world.
