This week, the kids continued their How Humans Work project by drawing the bones of the arms, legs, hands and feet, adding more detail to their skeletons. They also explored how bones and joints work together by observing their own bodies, moving their fingers and arms to see how different joints allow movement. This hands-on activity helped them develop a better understanding of the human skeleton and its structure.
To bring their artwork into the Halloween spirit, the kids decorated their finished skeletons with spooky elements, such as hats and other Halloween-inspired accessories. Each child added their own creative touches and personal style, resulting in a wonderful collection of unique skeleton artworks full of character and Halloween charm!
