Our Year 3–4 students completed their Autumn topic this week and began exploring Halloween through a spooky pumpkin art activity.
Students drew Halloween pumpkins on orange paper and used black paper to cut out and create different Halloween elements, such as bats, cats, haunted houses and spooky silhouettes. They arranged and attached these shapes to their artwork to create their own Halloween-inspired scenes.
Through this activity, students explored shape, contrast and composition by combining orange and black paper to create a spooky Halloween atmosphere. It was lovely to see how they used their imagination to design their own unique Halloween pumpkin artworks.
