Mr Browning’s Class – Art Update T1 W9

This week, our Year 1–2 kids had a wonderful time exploring their creativity through two fun-filled Halloween art activities!

First, the kids used their own photographs to create personalised Halloween witch posters. They added spooky witch hats, costumes and playful Halloween details, turning their own portraits into imaginative Halloween characters. It was lovely to see how excited they were to include themselves in their artwork and make each poster uniquely their own.

They also created 3D Halloween candy baskets using paper cups and orange paper strips, transforming simple materials into little pumpkin-inspired creations. To finish, the kids designed their own spooky faces, experimenting with different shapes and expressions to give each basket its own character.

Both activities brought so much excitement and joy to the classroom. The kids were eager to share their ideas, make their creations special and show off their finished artwork. It was a delight to see their imaginations shine as they celebrated Halloween through art! 👻
