This week, our Year 3–4 students continued their study of Impressionist artists from last term.
To explore new materials, students worked on black canvas bags using acrylic marker pens.
They chose a Vincent Van Gogh artwork as a reference and recreated it in their own unique style.
Because the bags are something they can use in their daily lives, students showed great care and enthusiasm during the lesson. It was wonderful to see their creativity and personal expression come through.
Next week, students will enhance their designs by adding details with acrylic paint to make the colours more vivid. We are very excited to see how their final artworks will turn out!
