Mrs Sim’s Class – Art Update – T3-W2

This week, our young artists brought their learning to life by creating their own 3D cactus projects. Building on last week’s observations, students explored form and structure by constructing cactuses that stand upright, developing a stronger understanding of three-dimensional design.

In addition, students created flower drawings inspired by their observations, similar to the example shown. They carefully drew and coloured their flowers on paper, attached them to wooden branches using double-sided tape, and then fixed them into sponge bases to complete a sculptural craft piece.

It was wonderful to see students combining drawing, construction, and creativity to produce unique and expressive artworks.
