This week, students began a new unit inspired by rainforest animals. Working in pairs, they researched and discussed animal forms before designing a large-scale 3D elephant sculpture. Students focused on observing the animal’s shape and proportions while planning how to build a strong three-dimensional structure from cardboard.
Through collaboration, sketching, and design development, students strengthened their creative thinking, problem-solving, and sculpture-making skills. We look forward to seeing their elephant sculptures take shape over the coming weeks.
