This week, Year 7–9 students learned how to design and construct 3D bird sculptures using cardboard. Students explored shape, form, balance, and movement while transforming flat materials into three-dimensional artworks. They developed their ideas through sketching, learned how to cut, shape, paint, and assemble cardboard pieces, and gained a deeper understanding of sculpture construction and structural design. We are excited to see their finished birds on display soon!
