This week, our Year 7-9 students continued their stained glass project. Last week, they explored the theme of sunrise and mountains, while this week they were given the freedom to choose their own themes. Instead of using tissue paper, they worked with cellophane to apply colour, allowing them to experience and understand a greater variety of materials.
It was a valuable lesson in exploring different textures and techniques. Next week, students will be using glass deco paints to design their own light pieces, bringing both colour and creativity into a functional form.
