This week, the Year 1–2 children built on the blue background and hanji forsythia flower work completed last week by using ink to draw and express tree branches. They explored how ink can create natural flow and variation in line, adding depth and extending their compositions.
The Year 1–2 children also learned about the structure of butterflies and observed how their wings fold and open. Based on these observations, they drew butterflies in various poses on OHP film, focusing on wing shapes, patterns, and movement.
It was a lesson that combined observation and expressive drawing through different materials and techniques.
