Hello 🙂
I hope you all had a lovely break over Lunar New Year.
It has been a short week but lots of learning has been happening in Year 1/2.
We started our new IPC unit, “From A to B” and had fun exploring how we can move around. We worked as a team and tried to complete some challenges in the Hall to move from A to B.
In Literacy, we started our new Story Book Major Glad, Major Dizzy and the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring toys from the past. Today, we loved showing our friends our toys we brought in and will use them next week for our writing task.
In Maths, we started to learn our 5 times tables and dividing by 5. The homework is related to this and it would be great to practise at home too 🙂 We enjoyed some active learning in Maths today and yesterday and the children seemed to really enjoy the movement!
Just a reminder that the field trip fee of 25,000 won should be brought to school. If you haven’t already paid, please send it by Monday 23rd February.
The field trip will take place next week, Thursday 26th. We will leave school at 9:15 and return at 3:15pm.
What do we need?
- A packed lunch – it should be something that does not need to be microwaved
- Uniform should be worn (hoodie or t-shirt)
- Water bottleÂ
- Comfortable clothing and trainers
- Jacket
- Socks must be worn for the indoor play area
