This week, Year 5–6 students completed their ongoing Eva Armisen inspired painting project.
Students finalised their large canvas paintings, continuing to use acrylic paint to build rich colours, refine facial expressions, and add thoughtful details. They worked carefully to capture the warm and emotional atmosphere characteristic of Eva Armisen’s style, while also expressing their own unique ideas.
After completing their main artworks, students moved on to a smaller creative activity using postcard-sized paper. In this task, they explored more freedom in their work by using a variety of materials such as paint, coloured pencils, and markers, depending on their preferences.
Throughout the lessons, students demonstrated strong focus and creativity, and it was wonderful to see them confidently express their ideas through both colour and composition. All students made excellent progress and successfully brought their projects to a meaningful conclusion.
